LCE was destined to be born in 2009 after a series of interconnected milestones starting with Ahmed El Aawar (Founder) being certified as the first ICF accredited coach in 2006, after which he started exploring the profound impact of coaching on himself personally and on others.
Ahmed kept coaching intensively from 2007 to 2009 with no clear vision of where this would take him yet continued pursuing his passion with a compelling drive and sense of purpose feeling that it was the right path for him. As time passed, he began to realize that coaching has the potential of creating a ripple effect in the Egyptian market and that it was time to institutionalize the practice by using the science of psychology and the art and principles of coaching to impact individuals and organizations.
He sought to do so under the motto of “Let’s Coach Egypt”, a phrase mentioned by Ahmed El Aawar in 2009 in a moment of connection and clarity. With a few believers and sponsors (founding members) LCE was established to serve the Egyptian market. With great success, LCE launched a star program “The Power of Decision”, along with other leadership programs. Ahmed decided to pilot a local coaching certification program in 2012 and from there, a search began to partner with an international body to launch an accredited program by the International Coach Federation(ICF).
This came to fruition in 2014 when a partnership was established with University of Francesco Di Vittorio, one of the renowned universities based in Madrid, which gave birth to LCE Academy for coaching.
