Basmah Osman

Basmah is an accomplished, results-oriented senior consultant, professional trainer, mentor and an accredited executive/life coach (ACC). She is a certified Corporate Director and has over 30 years of professional expertise in management, business/organizational growth, and alliance building. She has contributed to enhancing impact by orchestrating and supervising new programs and initiatives including numerous national-level tripartite collaborations with development organizations spanning multiple sectors while working 8with the Federation of Egyptian Industries and serving community initiatives. Born and raised in the USA and spending the majority of her life in Egypt, her vast exposure to international cultures and business environments have strengthened her capacity to communicate cross-culturally and foster high connectedness among a varied spectrum of people. She leverages her wide personal and professional experiences, intuition and demonstrated ability to translate vision into action, in supporting men, women, and youth, to obtain the clarity and confidence they need to advance in their careers and lives. Basmah’s coaching and mentoring experiences have spanned formal business, non-profit, and community programs. For over five years, Basmah has worked with USAID to introduce a “Womens’ Mentors Development” program. This program aimed to equip women mentors with coaching skills and a solid understanding of empowerment to mentor women entrepreneurs. These experiences supported Basmah in joining the Netherlands-based, global company, UNLOQ, as an Associate from 2020 to date. Basmah coaches executives, management and staff from various UN agencies (UN Women, UNAIDS, UNDP, UNV) across the world to assist them in overcoming work and life challenges to achieve personal and organizational success. Since October 2022, Basmah is working with FekrKhan Coaching and Training Company as part of a team of executive coaches and facilitators while focusing on designing and implementing tailored empowerment activities. On the community service front, Basmah co-founded (2005-11) the Egyptian Junior Business Association’s “KEY Career Development Centers (CDC) Program” preparing university youth for the demands of the job market. Basmah is also one of the founders of the nonprofit organization “Women’s Entrepreneurs Network” and has been coaching and mentoring women in business through the network for four years now. Basmah also continues to serve wider communities as a facilitator of Shell’s “NXPlorers” program promoting complex and systems thinking to youth and middle management since 2020.
